It Can Also Be Reached On Foot. From The Gun Hill One Can See Beautiful Views Of The Himalayan Mountain Ranges I.e. Bandarpoonch, Srikanta, Pithawara And Gangotri Group Etc. In The Years Before Independence, A Cannon Placed On The Top Of This Hill Used To Fire A Shot Every Day At Noon So That People Could Set Their Watches, Hence The Name Of This Place As Gun Hill.
