On Reaching Delhi, We Were Welcomed By The WTP Official And We Left For Mussoorie. We Checked In At The Hotel, Freshened Up And Relaxed At The Hotel.

Mussoorie Or Mansuri Is A Hill Station In The State Of Uttarakhand, India, Which Is Also Called The Queen Of Mountains. Mussoorie Is One Of The Places Where People Come Again And Again. It Is One Of The Major Places To Visit. This Hill Station Falls In The Middle Of The Himalayan Range, Which Is Also Called The Queen Of Mountains. This Is The Reason Why This City Appears Like A Fairyland To Tourists. Mussoorie Is Also The Gateway To Gangotri. The Flora And Fauna Found In Dehradun Further Enhance Its Charm. It Is A Popular Summer Tourist Destination For The Residents Of Delhi And Uttar Pradesh. It Is A Very Beautiful City. Enjoy Going By Ropeway To Gun Hill, The Second Highest Peak Of Mussoorie. It Can Also Be Reached On Foot. From The Gun Hill One Can See Beautiful Views Of The Himalayan Mountain Ranges I.e. Bandarpoonch, Srikanta, Pithawara And Gangotri Group Etc. In The Years Before Independence, A Cannon Placed On The Top Of This Hill Used To Fire A Shot Every Day At Noon So That People Could Set Their Watches, Hence The Name Of This Place As Gun Hill.

After Having Breakfast, We Left For Nainital. We Checked In At The Hotel, Freshened Up And Rested.

Nainital Is Situated In The Foothills Of The Kumaon Hills Of The Himalayas. The Valley Of Nainital Has A Pear-shaped Lake Known As Naini Lake. This Lake Is Surrounded By Mountains On All Sides. The Naina Devi Temple Is Situated On The Northern Shore Of Naini Lake. On One Side Of The Lake Lies The Mall Road, Now Called Govind Ballabh Pant Marg. There Are Many Hotels, Restaurants, Travel Agencies, Shops And Banks Here. This Road Is A Center Of Attraction For All Tourists. Mall Road Is The Main Road Connecting Mallital And Tallital. Thandi Road Is On The Other Side Of The Lake. This Road Is Not As Busy As Mall Road. There Is Also The Pashan Devi Temple Here. Vehicles Are Prohibited On Thandi Road.
