The Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal is a museum located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India, which works to study the folk arts, culture, songs and festivals of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh and to popularize and propagate folk arts, folk dances and folk literature. It was founded by Padma Shri Late Devi Lal Samar in the year 1952. This institution has a museum which displays a collection of folk items of Rajasthan such as rural costumes, jewelry, puppets, masks, dolls, folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. It also has a puppet theater (kathputli) where puppet shows are held at regular intervals.

History of Lok Kala Mandal
The museum was established by Padmashri Devi Lal Samar in 1952. Her main objective behind this was to revive the vanishing culture of folk arts, songs and festivals of the regions of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh etc. Other goals of the institute are: to popularize and propagate folk arts, folk dances and folk literature, to conduct research in folklore and folk arts, to update traditional folk arts in accordance with the modern environment, to give puppet shows and performances of folk dances and songs in India and outside India, to conduct training courses in folklore, to encourage folk artists and to undertake allied educational exercises and programmes.
