Bagore ki Haveli

Bagor-ki-Haveli is a mansion located in Udaipur district of the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is located on the right side of the Gangori Gate of Pichola Lake. It was built by Mewar minister Amar Chand Badwa in the 18th century.

It has about 138 rooms in which many modern and old art objects are kept. Glass work is also done in the mansion. Apart from these, paintings of Maharanas and Maharanis of Mewar are also installed in this mansion, which look very beautiful.

History of Bagore Ki Haveli

Built in the 18th century by Amar Chand Badwa, the prime minister of Mewar, Bagore Ki Haveli is a magnificent architectural masterpiece reflecting the lifestyle of the Rajput aristocracy. After the fall of the Mewar dynasty, the haveli was neglected for decades, and was renovated by the West Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC) in the late 20th century. Today, Bagore Ki Haveli serves as a magnificent museum and cultural centre, attracting history buffs, photographers and art lovers from around the world.
