As your much-awaited journey with World Trip Plan begins, here’s how your first day will unfold based on your selected tour departure and joining point.

Guests Departing from Jaipur – Scheduled Group Departure

Guests who have opted for the Jaipur to Sikkim–Darjeeling tour are required to report at Jaipur Railway Station at the designated reporting time shared by World Trip Plan.

The group journey will commence from Jaipur Railway Station, from where guests will travel towards NJP Railway Station as per the scheduled group travel arrangements.

Our World Trip Plan Tour Manager / Representative will coordinate with the group and assist guests throughout the journey to ensure a smooth and comfortable start to the tour.

Upon reaching NJP Railway Station, the group will proceed towards Gangtok by road. The scenic journey to Gangtok takes approximately 4–5 hours, covering around 125 km, depending on traffic and road conditions.

Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Anywhere in the World

Guests who wish to join or leave the tour from their own preferred location may make their own travel arrangements to the designated joining or departure point.

For guests joining the tour directly, the designated joining point will be NJP Railway Station / Gangtok Hotel, as per the tour arrangements shared by World Trip Plan.

Your World Trip Plan Travel Advisor and Tour Manager will coordinate with you regarding your arrival time, joining point, transfer arrangements and hotel check-in.

The Tour Manager / Representative will meet you at the designated joining point and assist you with the onward journey as per the itinerary.

Important Notes

• Guests who have selected Jaipur as their joining point must report at Jaipur Railway Station at the designated reporting time.
• Guests travelling from Jaipur should reach the railway station well in advance to complete boarding and group departure formalities.
• For Joining & Leaving (J&L) guests, travel arrangements to and from the designated joining / departure point will be at their own cost unless specifically mentioned in the package.
• Guests joining directly at NJP / Gangtok must share their travel details with World Trip Plan in advance for proper coordination.
• Standard hotel check-in time in India is generally 12:00 PM (12:00 hrs) or later.
• In case of early arrival, luggage storage or sightseeing may be arranged depending on the itinerary and hotel availability.
• Any additional meals, snacks, transportation or personal expenses arising due to early arrival, late departure or changes in personal travel arrangements will be at the guest’s own cost.
• Sightseeing and transportation schedules may be adjusted depending on weather conditions, road conditions, local permissions and operational circumstances, particularly during the North Sikkim portion of the tour.
• Guests are advised to carry valid travel documents and keep their valuables and personal belongings safe throughout the journey.
• Always keep the World Trip Plan emergency contact details and your Tour Manager’s mobile number with you during the tour.

The journey from NJP / Bagdogra to Gangtok is approximately 125 km and takes around 4–5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful Himalayan landscapes as we make our way towards the capital of Sikkim.

On reaching Gangtok, complete the hotel check-in formalities and take some time to relax after the journey. The rest of the day is at leisure. You may explore the nearby surroundings or simply unwind at the hotel.

Later, enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in Gangtok and get ready for the exciting Sikkim sightseeing experiences ahead.

After breakfast, get ready for a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Explore the city's beautiful viewpoints, monasteries and cultural attractions.

After breakfast, get ready for an exciting excursion to Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake) and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir. Enjoy the scenic mountain drive and breathtaking views of the Himalayan landscape.

After completing the sightseeing, return to Gangtok and spend the evening at leisure. Relax at the hotel or explore the local surroundings on your own.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Lachung, a beautiful mountain village in North Sikkim. Enjoy the scenic journey through winding mountain roads, lush valleys and picturesque landscapes.

After an early breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for an exciting excursion to Yumthang Valley, popularly known as the Valley of Flowers. Surrounded by majestic Himalayan mountains, the valley offers breathtaking landscapes and beautiful natural scenery.

Today marks the end of your memorable Sikkim–Darjeeling journey with World Trip Plan. After breakfast, check out from the hotel as per the standard check-out time. Depending on your departure schedule, you may have some free time to relax or explore the nearby surroundings on your own.

Later, proceed towards NJP Railway Station for your onward journey. Guests travelling as part of the scheduled group departure will proceed towards the railway station or airport as per the group’s departure schedule. Our representative will assist with the transfer as per the applicable tour arrangements.

For Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests, onward travel arrangements from NJP/ Darjeeling will be as per their individual travel plans. Guests are requested to plan their departure timing accordingly and ensure that they reach the railway station or airport well in advance.

Guests who have selected Jaipur as their departure point will proceed from NJP Railway Station for their scheduled train journey back to Jaipur as per the group travel arrangements.
