Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport (officially known as Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport), your 'World Trip Plan' Tour Manager will meet you and ensure that your transfer—whether to your hotel or to a sightseeing location—proceeds smoothly and efficiently. This will be executed strictly in accordance with your itinerary to ensure that you do not have to wait at all.

Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Anywhere in the World: If you are joining this tour from any part of India or from abroad by making your own travel arrangements, please ensure that you have received complete information regarding your arrival at the destination, guidelines for hotel check-in, or the specific location where you will be joining the group.

Your 'World Trip Plan' Travel Advisor/Tour Manager will contact you and provide guidance accordingly. The Tour Manager will meet you directly at the starting destination, as outlined in the tour itinerary shared with you.

Today, we will arrive in Guwahati airport, the gateway to North East India. Upon arrival, we will visit the sacred Kamakhya Temple, one of the most important Shakti Peeths in India. After darshan, we will have some free time to relax and explore the surroundings or enjoy a peaceful evening by the Brahmaputra River.

Night Stay: Cherrapunji

Today, we will embark on an adventurous trek to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge. The trek involves descending and climbing thousands of steps through lush forests. After spending time at the bridge, we will return and relax.
